KB says Duke is long and athletic. Most teams are! He also said they play a tough zone defense. A zone is best for VT. It takes away the inside game (we don't really have one) and forces VT to shoot from the outside. The key is to make a lot more 3's this game. VT is due for a good % shooting night and they should bounce back after the blowout to FSU. Duke only beat Grand Canyon and Wake by 13 on the road. VT is better than those teams. In both 2013 and 2015 we only lost by 4 at home to Duke. Duke shouldn't be super motivated in this spot. I think it will be close and VT has a chance for the upset if they come to play!!

Hopefully, the drama about "focus and culture" is over, and Hicks is back in the starting lineup.

If we get blown out again and show poor effort, then I'll be a little concerned that KBs losing the girls. Benching your star player and getting blown out again could be a sign of that? But, I don't think that's the case. Go Hokies and let's hope Ricky gets some good grub!
